Hirsuta is a plant in the same family as kratom and coffee. It has hirsutine and mitraphylline instead of mitragynine. It is great for a tolerance reset. You can use it as 1:1 replacement and it's similar to a red vein. Understand that if you take a tolerance break and use hirsuta, you won't have any WD effects.... But you won't necessarily feel a burn either (edited)

If your normal dose is 5g of leaf you are looking at 75 mg mit. For 5g of leaf equivalency you’re looking at .17g of 44% extract. This is very potent stuff. At exactly 1g of this 44% extract you have 440 mg of mitragynine. It’s very important to know your mitragynine levels in kratom leaf most high quality greens are 1.5% mitragynine so for every gram you have 15mg of mit. It’s pretty easy math you just move the decimal over and remember it’s always a derivative of ten. 1/10th of 440 is 44 so .1 = 44. I never knew any of this until someone broke it down for me last year. So if your normal dose is 7grams-105mg of mit I highly suggest doing 3.5g of leaf (52mg mit) with .12g of 44% (also 52 mg mit) for basically 105mg total. 3.5 x15= 52, .12 X 44 = 52 for a total of 105 or 7g good plain leaf equivalent. This keeps tolerance down and allows good hits. @Ant-Reloaded

Here's some easy to remember extract tips. If you have an extract powder that lists the mit%, you can immediately know the mit mg without math. Just use 100mg (0.1g) as your base measurement. If you have a 45% extract, 100mg of that extract will be 45mg mit. If you have 80% extract, 100mg of that extract will be 80mg mit, etc, etc. No math involved. Just whip out the scale, measure 100mg, look at the mit% on your extract and replace the "%" with "mg" and BAM. There ya go πŸ‘Œ @SaucySack96

List of Anti-inflammatory Oils and Herbs Oak bark (Quercus alba) contains a mixture of tannins including catechins, oligomeric proanthrocyanidins and ellagitannins. Due to their astringent, vasoconstrictive and cooling properties they make excellent soothing compresses. Bioflavonoids, including quercetin and hesperidin, inhibit histamine release and mast cell degranulation, and support capillary integrity. Quercetin (found in high levels in onions) inhibits phospholipase A2 and lipoxygenase enzymes. This results in the inhibition of proinflammatory prostaglandins and leukotrienes. (edited)

Peppermint - active constituent menthol - Menthol is a monoterpenol found in peppermint essential oil and creates the cooling and warming sensation produced when peppermint essential oil is applied topically. Menthol has demonstrated analgesic action in research and increased cutaneous (skin) blood flow. Sandalwood - active constituent santalol - helps with several ailments, such as depression, bacterial infections, acne, infected wounds, insomnia, muscle pain, and herpes. The only known contraindication for this essential oil is that it can cause contact dermatitis or another allergic reaction, making it imperative to perform a skiing patch test prior to using it. Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) - active constituents linalool, linalyl acetate, camphor -linalool is an anti-inflammatory sedative, antispasmodic, antimicrobial, and analgesic. Linalyl acetate is an anti-inflammatory, sedative, antispasmodic, and analgesic. Camphor is analgesic, mucolytic, decongestant, antitussive. Roman Chamomile - The active constituents serve many purposes such as antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and antimicrobial. Ylang-ylang - active constituents gemacrene D, beta-caryophyllene - both anti-inflammatory. Bergamot (citrus auarantium) - There are more than 300 compounds in bergamot with the primary constituents consisting of limonene - a terpene, linalyl acetate - an ester, linalool - a monoterpene, and bergaptene- a terpene. Terpenes provide antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antiseptic qualities, while esters have antispasmodic, antifungal, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and sedative effects. Since terpenes can also cause skin irritation, C. aurantium (L.) var bergamia should be patch tested before use. -important note - The key thing to remember with Bergamot is that is highly phototoxic. You should wait 24 hours after using the essential oil on your skin before exposing it to sunlight. Even then, you would need to wear a sunscreen. Eucalyptus - active constituents 1-8 cineole and alpha-pinene - 1,8 cineole is an oxide & monoterpenoid that is best used for its anti-inflammatory & expectorant properties. Alpha-pinene contributes to the anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and antispasmodic actions. Patchouli root - Patchouli contains A-Guinane, a powerful anti-inflammatory compound that reduces inflammation of the joints and muscles to provide relief from aches and pains. Several studies have been done to research the anti-inflammatory properties of Patchouli. It has been found that patchoulol (patchouli alcohol), can regulate the production of inflammatory markers in cells with induced inflammation. It has also been found that Patchouli exhibits strong anti-inflammatory properties within Willow bark (Salix alba) - contains salicin, known for its antipyretic and pain relieving activity Licorice Root - active constituent - glycyrrhizin - a triterpene saponin. It is converted to glycyrrehetic acid (GA) in the body. This herb has been used extensively as an anti-inflammatory agent. In one study the effects of topical corticosteroids were significantly enhanced by the addition of licorice root. Turmeric (Curcuma longa) - active constituent curcumin - inhibits leukotriene formation, inhibits platelet aggregation and stabilizes neutrophilic lysosomal membranes, thus inhibiting inflammation at the cellular level. Curcumin is reported to possess greater anti-inflammatory activity than ibuprofen. At low levels, curcumin is a prostaglandin inhibitor, while at higher levels it stimulates the adrenal glands to secrete cortisone. Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) - active constituent chamazulene - Known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-pruritic activity, it is used externally in the form of compresses and bath additives.

American skullcap is native to North America, but it is now widely cultivated in Europe and other areas of the world. It has been used for more than 200 years as a mild relaxant and as a therapy for anxiety, nervous tension, and convulsions. Studies show American skullcap has significant antioxidant effects, and may help protect against neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and depression. There's even some evidence to suggest that American skullcap may inhibit food allergic response. Today, other herbs (such as valerian) are more commonly used, although American skullcap may be combined with other calming herbs in some preparations.
